   about us

Our goal is to create relationships; to work with the client, not for the client. Together, we seek to bring a change and positive environmental, functional, and aesthetic impact to the world.

Jorge Mastropietro Architects Atelier, also known as JMA, a minority-owned firm based in Soho with architecture, urban design, design-build and CM practice focused on design innovation, development services, and highly sustainable methods including Passive House.

The firm, led by Buenos Aires-born Jorge Mastropietro, AIA, is among a new breed of architects who offer construction services and also self-develop – that is, invest in, build and market their own building projects.

Before founding his own firm, Jorge worked for RafaelViñoly on a number of large, international projects.

Jorge is also a registered architect in Argentina, where he has completed numerous buildings and currently operates a second JMA office located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

We aim to produce designs that are timeless, elegant, and unique.  The utmost pride goes into every one of our designs and we believe that each should tell its own story.

We provide a broad array of architectural needs, including environmental architecture, urban design, landscaping, sustainable design, interior design, and structural engineering consultation. We work in all-phases of the architectural process, from idea conception and schematic design through construction documentation.

Signature design sells and sells fast.

With our experience working with real-estate developers as well as self-developing a number of our own projects, we know what buyers are looking for and how to achieve highly marketable and functional designs.

Here at the JMA office, our team is full of big thinkers. We can’t help but look at buildings with immense potential because we have the know-how to bring each building to the next level. Our mission is to create thoughtful designs that produce value to the overall neighborhood.
