Jorge Participates in Panel Discussion: “Emerging Models of International Practice.”

As an international firm both in project location and the composition of our team, we believe it to be important to have a diverse team. Although we are in an ever-increasingly global society, hiring the best talent with disregard to nationality remains difficult. The process can take months, if not years and can inhibit U.S. firms from hiring from abroad. The panel discussion, held at The Center for Architecture (AIA) discussed the importance and benefits to having a global firm, such as gaining cultural perspective and the innovative ideas that a diverse firm can put together with this talent.

With the limitations of the VISA process in mind, Architect-US is “a groundbreaking new resource to the architecture community that sponsors global talent which facilitating the process for U.S.-based firms interested in hiring international excellence.”
